We are not alone

CZ.NIC donated three PCs and three tablets to our school. The devices helped us during online lessons. Furthermore, they improve the quality of monthly topic presentations and contribute to the development of the ICT skills of our pupils.

Labyrinth is the first laboratory school in the country. We were there when it was founded and we remain in intensive contact. Labyrinth has been supportive and helpful, and we look forward to building a collaborative network of lab schools in the country and showing the school system that this is a relevant alternative to traditional education.

One of the founders is an employee of the Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. Her colleagues, especially those working in educational and school psychology, actively support the establishment of the school. PhDr. Václav Mertin, a long-standing member of the department, is an ambassador for our school.

DYS-centrum is the organization that co-founded "ZŠ Poznávání" , s. r. o. Two of the founders work there. While working with clients they realized that they wanted to start a school that is different, that does not pay attention to labeling and grading, that values that everyone learns differently and has their own potential which we have to find and use.

The organization was founded by Prof. Reuven Feuerstein, a prominent child psychologist whose theories and applications (instrumental enrichment, dynamic assessment - LPAD) have long inspired our work with children and adolescents.

As a professional organization, the ATC organizes Feuerstein instrumental enrichment courses and LPAD dynamic examination courses. Most of us have been trained at the ATC in the past and some of us lecture courses there.

COSIV is a non-profit organization that is intensively dedicated to promoting inclusive education in the Czech Republic. We share views on inclusion, support each other and cooperate.

CSIE is a British charity with whom we have worked on several projects. We share views and visions on inclusive education.

We publish in the journals School Management, School Counselling in Practice, Teachers' Monthly and gain valuable information about school management and teaching from them. We are in contact with the editors and many authors. We also use information from the School Management Online portal for our school management and leadership.

We publish in the journal and one of the school's co-founders is its professional editor. We find valuable information and inspiration for our work with pupils in the articles.
